Published in conjunction with Group 6: The Canadian Forces Artists Program, 2012-2013, an exhibition of contemporary military art, the publication includes essays by Dr. Laura Brandon, Curator of the Canadian War Museum; John MacFarlane, Major-General Joyce, and Henrietta Riegel, Department of National Defence, Government of Canada.

 

The renowned Canadian Forces Artists Program (CFAP), in operation since 2001, invites professional artists of all disciplines to be embedded alongside the Canadian Forces in air, land, and sea, to observe and record soldiers at work. Dr. Laura Brandon curated the exhibition and organized the panel discussion held at the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum, Carp, Ontario in 2016.
