Released in 1999 by the U.S. Department of Defense, this film and photographic archive contains over 800 photographs made by Berlyn Brixner (1911 – 2009) and his team, lead photographer of the Manhattan Project’s Trinity test (July 16, 1945).
From this archive, Kavanagh selected 32 photographs to pair with their corresponding metadata sheets.
