Shadow Archive presents a collection of household debris organized into a grid of 100 transparent bags. Collected and catalogued from the artist's ancestral family home at the point of its sale, this work examines aspects of memory and its construction and reconstruction. Compiling and cataloguing discarded objects and residues, bagging and labeling these by location, and organizing them into a grid, this work at once solidifies place and memory, while suggesting fleeting and unstable interpretations.
